All have their way of celebrating birthday puja. The basic activities followed are Poorva Karma, Puja of Markandey Rishi, and Lord Ganesha (as per auspicious Muhurta). This is also complemented by Ashtottara Namavali Path, Ganesh Stotra path, Homa (Havan), and prayer of markandeya rishi and Lord Ganesh. So, Birthday puja is also a special event that everyone performs. We conduct this Puja by following all the rituals properly according to religious books and Astrology.
