What is a gate valve?

A gate valve is a device that allows you to open or close the flow of fluid completely. Body, Bonnet, Solid Wedge, BodySeats, Stem, Back seat, Hand Wheel, nuts, Bonnet gasket, packing, disc, and many other components make up a gate valve. The gate valve is the most common valve and can be utilized in any application.
