2 years ago - Services - Aurora - 102 viewsFor beer can chicken,it's best to go with the flow and be creative. Don't worry, it's easy to makebeer can chicken and hard to mess up. Mix and match your choicesfor liquids and seasoning. Take risks and try several matchingsto find your favourites.
Seasoning:
· Your favourite poultryseasoning
· Paprika (paprika helpsmakes that golden colour)
· Salt and pepper
· your favourite bbqsauce
Liquid:
· Favourite beer
· Favourite cider
· Favorite cooler
· Can of pop
· Can of juice
Instructions:
1. Preheat the BBQ orSMOKER or OVEN: (BBQ-medium/high heat, OVEN 350 degrees F, SMOKER 350 degreesF).
2. Drink/remove half ofthe liquid from the can. Use the small cans (355ml/12 oz). If you don't removethe liquid: it will take to long heat up and steam. PLUS there's nothing foryou to enjoy!
3. Season the outside ofyour chicken with your choice in seasoning.
4. Place the can in theriding chicken stand and secure the chicken on the stand and on the can.See video formore details.
5. Place your ridingchicken in the OVEN or BBQ or SMOKER.
6. Cook the chicken untilthe breast and chicken thighs reach 165 degrees F. (About 45min-1hr in the ovenor BBQ and 1-1 and 1/2 hours on the smoker). Rotate you chicken every 15 mins.
7. Let the chicken sitfor at least 10mins before serving.
8. Enjoy the moist on the inside and crispy on the outsideCHICK.
*** If you're intospices, you can try adding spices directly into the can. For example, add freshrosemary into your can of beer.
ForHawaiian BBQ beer can chicken (the new up-and-coming beer can chicken):
1. Follow the previoussteps except instead of using a can, carve out a pineapple to the same size andshape as a small 355ml/12 oz can. You can choose any seasoning for theoutside of the chicken that you would enjoy.
2. Place the cansized pineapple shape in the chicken stand and secure the chicken.
3. Cook in theOVEN/BBQ/SMOKER.
